You're right, you missed nothing.  The lunch was just a sliced beef on hamburger
buns sandwich with potato salad and chips for $8.00.  It didn't look too
appealing so we just snacked on some stuff we had in the car.  No give aways by
license plate numbers as in the past.  They had a 50/50 raffle and a few others
that you had to buy tickets for.  The only good part was there were a ton of
cars there.  Must have been the good weather.  I'll be heading for Nebraska to
see my daughter and grandkids during the Greenbluff cruise.  You guys have fun
for me.    Bob

Had the last hay delivery.It got resheduled at the last minute.

I was going to  try to catch up but had no one's cell phone.
Except AL who is in Iraq.

Sounds like I missed nothing.

Next year BOB for sure you are IN CHARGE!! That land out there is the
most
boring. The Rosalia trip a few years back was not too bad and the lunch
was good.

Did you get good food at least??

I am looking forward to Greenbluff though. That is ususally a good one.

Sounds like fun. I would have liked to have made it, and the just park it tour, but I've spent way too much in gas this year already. Suppose I could have driven the 40 mpg nissan down. Decided to stick it out at home working on getting my green '66 Charger going though, which is a car formerly owned by the guy that owns the Superbird in Mullan.

Who was the '66 owner? Was that the Baggott car? Any pics?

Battling the "Wazzu Flu" but made Palouse Days.  Even with 10 minutes of sprinkles and moderate wind all day they had over 248 cars in the Park!  They had to stop taking entries and started putting cars over in the RV park.  It was insane!  Mike Sparlin had his sharp Challenger in the show; 2 69 Chargers and 1 66 original owner. No 68's or 70-later.  The blue Superbird from Wallace/Mullan was there too - I had heard rumors of one but had not yet seen it. Not as many Mopars as in the past.

Deer Park has their open show from 8-1 at the Chevy dealer on Saturday too.  I have to work so will miss it; should be able to make part of Palouse Days.  The Park It Tour is always fun!

What I did was get one of those undercoat sprayers for the backside and spray it down with one of those paints with the chemical that turns the rust into a black primer, then on the other side I used the same stuff under fiberglass filler which works great. But if you are going to leave it for a while I would do the outside part with hammerite, which is almost as good as por-15. Getting back to the underside part, I pulled the plastic plugs right behind the rear wheels to point the sprayer, then when everything was done I used the expandable foam for insulating houses in that same hole then put the plug back in. That way water can't get back there so much that it sloshes around. some moisture always will creep in but the foam really slows it down for quite a few years. I suppose a cheaper sprayer would be a common pump up garden sprayer. when you get to do the body work all the hammerite will need to come off because not a lot of stuff will stick to it, which is why hammerite is cheaper than por-15.--Mike

Hey Connie,

The greenbluff cruise/show is usually in the beginning of October.

Kalispell would be lots of fun but I should work at home Saturday as well, too much to do. Plus I've already put 2,000 miles on that car this year and need to save gas money. At 30 cents per mile it adds up!

Though I did just have the driveshaft balanced in my red '66 Charger, so no more freeway vibrations, so that's cool.

I don't have the funds to replace the rear quarters and need to stop the cancer.
Can anyone recommend a way to put a halt to the damage until I can get the whole
