A group for Southern California riders to plan rides, exchange tips and information, share pictures and stories, etc.
What do we mean by "sport touring?" Well, there are those who ride just for show (down to the local watering hole to show off their chrome), those who ride for distance (super slab lovers) and those who thrive on the sheer adrenaline rush of as much speed as they dare (pure speed junkies). Then, there’s the rest of us. Those who enjoy the scenery while negotiating the twisty back roads, day and weekend trips to interesting places, riding with old friends and making new ones... Whether you own an industry classified "sport tourer," or just enjoy a spirited ride with other like-minded riders, this group is for you! We welcome all types and brands of bikes (standards, cruisers, sport bikes, tourers, whatever) and riders, as long as you share in a sport touring attitude... Join us in planning rides and get togethers, share your tricks and tips, get your questions about your motorcycle answered, etc.
This is an open group that anyone can join. We just ask that you actually be a rider (or at least interested) and that you participate a bit. We’ve seen other groups that have plenty of members but few contributors. To make this worthwhile, you need to participate a bit! Post some pictures of your bike, share your favorite roads, ask questions, give answers.
Due to the increasing amount of SPAM, I am now forced to moderate membership. Please feel free to join, but know that your request will be denied if your profile is blank. To help me separate the spammers from legitimate potential members, please have some information in your profile about yourself, your location, your bike, whatever – just so I can tell you’re legitimate!
