Hi there.  I just found this site and heard there is a ride planned
for Sunday.  I was wondering if anyone is welcome to attend?  I have a
2001 yamaha zuma and have been looking for other scooter riders for a
while.  Please le tme know about the ride on sunday.. thanx.

Just letting you scooter nuts know that www.madass.ca is up. The site
is still being worked on. We will have all the info about the bike in
Canada and lots of other goodies soon. chow4now

Why don't we just do it every sunday at 2:00pm???

We'd like to propose this ride:

- Meet at Dairy Queen parking lot on 8th street at 2 pm.

- Take off on our ride...8th st - Broadway - Spadina -up to white
Swan - back down spadina..... and stop at Central Perk Cafe on 7th St
in city park for a Coffee and yummy treat.

- fun times to ride then chill and have a chat

kim and I just came back from a trip to bc, she was on her Big Ruckus
and me on a DRZ(not a scooter, I know I know) we also own a vespa
super and just recently sold a honda passport to a loving new owner.
We hope to get to know all of you scooter people and watch our
comunity grow.

Cheers everyone.  I bought my scooter in May 2006.  It is a 50cc Honda
Jazz, which is classic style.  I use it to commute to work.  I'd love
to be part of a scooter ride if one gets organized.

Hi there,

At this point there's only been Tara and myself who get together and
ride; however, we'd very much like to change those numbers.  I'm sure
there must be others on the list who'd like to get together.

I think a meet and greet would be a good start so I'm asking those
who've signed up to send in some workable times in their schedule when
we could meet each other face to face and plan a ride.

I apologize that this week is not possible for me but I'm free most
evenings or Sat/Sun a.m. starting next week.

Let's try to get together soon, write in if you're interested.

Man, I was nervous!  I passed my license too, I am suprised because I
even did a illegal u-turn - no fault of anyone - in order to get back
on track and still passed!  Look out, I'm on the road too.  Day or
night.  My 5 year old is gonna love cruising with his mom.  I am
nervous of other dumbass drivers of vehicles. You can too!

I am not a scooter owner. Just trying to help a friend.

I have not heard of any place that is renting scooters in Saskatoon.
In fact Yamaha doesn't even want to let people take them for a test
drive!  However, there is a fellow who's selling electric scooters in
the Mall at Lawson Heights and I think he's letting people have them
for a day ride.  The electrics aren't quite like a gas scooter but it
might give your friend a feel for it. I hope that helps.

WHOO HOO!!! I passed my road test this morning.  I'm now officially
running with the big dogs.  I will no longer turn into a pumpkin at
sunset, and can take hubby with me for an ice cream.  The
possibilities are endless!

Man, this great weather to have a scoot :)  I have a sexy BW - red and
black - filled up for $4.50 last night, ha, ha.  I'm loving that!  I
am looking forward to actually meeting the others I see cruising
around our beautiful city!  I find it hard to find what gear to wear
to be safe, yet stay cool at red lights. I see everything from skirts
to sandles, and I'm not so sure about that.  I am sure of my great
driving abilities, but others in Saskatoon, maybe not so much.   We
shall set up a cruise of sorts?  Let's see the interest and get us on
the road before we blink and it's winter!  Here is my note buddy, and
I beat the Vino off the line anytime and wait till I supe it up.

Yeah!! The first full day of summer and there was no need for rain
gear; it's a good sign for the rest of the driving season.

I'm thoroughly enjoying my Vino 125 and looking forward to meeting
more Scooter riders in Saskatoon.  Be sure to write and tell us about
