The Suzuki Diesel Group is for sharing information about re-powering the Suzuki Samurai, Suzuki Sidekick and Geo Tracker with the Volkswagen diesel 1.6 and 1.9 engines. The goal of this site is to provide accurate information, images, and a collective experience in order to convert one's vehicle to the VW platform. This is a broad community of members that share all kinds of information on how they did their particular conversion. There are members that leave their conversion 100% stock. Some make modifications for high performance reasons. Others run waste-oil or biodiesel as fuels. Lots of diversity here. Feel free to join in and start asking questions right away. Please note that this is a family-oriented site and that there are young people here. "Adult" images are not tolerated. Please temper your thoughts and use appropriate language; should you have a conflict with a member, or simply need to vent, keep it clean or handle it privately.
