There will be a fun birthday get together for Gwen on Wed. Nov 25th at the
ten pin sports bar, between 3 and 4pm. This should be fun, and I know she would
love to see everybody. Come if you can, hope to see everyone.

Debi & I will be there! We have been holding back on promising any help due to
not knowing what our schedule would provide, but it now looks like we are wide
open to help. I assume that we will be able to find out at the dinner how and
what we can do. (neither of us are any good at scrubbing toilets), Keith

We would like to see all members at this dinner meeting to help Chey in
getting the last minute detailes done on what each of us needs to do for this
years Christmas party.  The dinner starts at 6 P.M. on Monday November 30th at
Dos Amigos in Weed. This is a no host dinner. Hope to see yu'all there.

On November 11th there will again be a ceremony at the Living Memoral on Highway
97.  As we did on Memoral day, it would be great to ride into the Memoral site
with our colors (weather permitting).  We will meet at Mark and Chey's house at

There will be a surprise B-Day party for George Quigley this Sat Oct 24th,
at 3pm in Lake Shastina at the home of Gwen Dicepolo. She is putting alot of
work into this party and has asked that everyone come and have a great time!
   She is having a Tri-tip bbq, and has arranged for some side dishes, and will
have a keg also. If you have another drink of choice it is asked that you bring
your own. If you would like to bring a salad that would be great too.

   Also if anyone still wants t-shirts please call me as we will be taking the
rest of them to the souvenir shop next week. For members who have not yet paid
for their shirts please try to do so at the next meeting or as soon as you can

Sat Sept. 19th we are going to meet at the bowling alley at 9am to ride over
to Fall River Mills. The United Bikers are hosting their annual End of the
Summer Party and will have music,raffles,a poker run,and bbq. The cost for the
event is 15.oo.
    We are probably going to leave around 9:30. This should be lots of fun, and
we can bring our tickets and flyers for the bike raffle and Christmas party.

Even though we are pretty new to the club, we have discovered the great
people that are members!  We spent 10 years in the Bay Area in a
Corvette club.  We had a terrific time with them and apprears we will
have a greater time with SMA.  Ed loves to ride his bike and I'm still
adjusting to everything.  I fractured my back in an auto accident almost
3 years ago, so I need to regain my courage on riding on something that
is unprotected.

It's amazing to see the friendliness of everyone that rides. Everyone is
wonderful and we a glad to have found your organization.  This club has
great potenial and we look forward to the future.  Who know - the
thought has crossed my mind to learn to write myself. Ed is so busy with
work and then the weekends come and go - we work to do around the house.
It's nice to know he's out on a run today just enjoying life.

Thank you again for opening up to us and making us feel welcome.  And
yes - as you can see - we've joined the group on the internet.

SMA Monthly Meetings are currently on the second Sat. of the month and are open
to the public meetings start at 10 AM with a ride to follow after the the
meeting. The ride for this mounth will be to Medford to Tin Tin for lunch Hope
you can and will join us.

Just reminding everyone that the United Bikers of Nothern Calif have invited
us to their 6th annual High Bars and Low Cars Intermountain "Run For The Money"
     All Proceeds go to benefit Shasta County Womens Refuge Intermountain
Program.
      Meet at the Veterans Hall on main st. 299e Burney Ca. Poker Run at 12 noon,
BBQ in the afternoon. Awards will be givin for High Hand, Low Hand, Best Bike,
and Best Car. 50/50 drawing and merchandise drawing.
     15.00 per person (includes poker hand and bbq ticket.) 5.00 for extra poker
hand.

wedding, seeing the pic's looks like we missed a good time. We also seemed to
miss the parade in McCloud, even though I think I committed to being there at
the last meeting. All I can do here is apoligize, and I'm glad to hear that it
seemed to have gone very well.

It's-our--sixth annual ride around Mt. Shas1a _
  Saturday, August 1, 2009
We will meet at Accurate Auto Body 136 S. Weed Blvd. at 11 :00 AM. Our route has
changed this year but it is more scenic with less freeway, we will travel to the
Snow mobile park on Pilgrim Creek Road outside of McCloud. We will be serving
lunch this year due to the condition of the road to Middle Falls. (Unfortunately
we will have to skip our Bartle stop.) We will continue around to Macdoel then
to our house for dinner (6420 Big Springs Road). If you plan to join us for
lunch or dinner': consisting of BBQ Turkey, Pork and Tri Tip accompanied by
various salads. Live music will follow dinner PLEASE RSVP by July 24th, call
(Lony) 530-859-2161 or (Wanda) 530-859-2164. This is a BYOB, if you choose
alcohol as your beverage of choice plan on bringing a sleeping bag. We have
plenty of room for campers, motor homes and tents you are welcome to bring them
out in advance. We have a swimming pool to cool off (suits required). Please
feel free to invite other riders. The past years have been a great time and we
hope to do the same this year.

We are planning to get together on fri eve july 17th to set up everything we
can do ahead of time for the Party out at Lake Shastina Community Center.
     Anyone interested in helping out are welcome. We will meet at 6pm at Mark
and Chey's and from there we will split up and collect items from storage
unit,beer kegs,ice,etc. hope to see alot of you guys. Lots to do, but hopefully
this event will be as smooth as playday. Check out the new pictures! Great
turnout for the parade!!!This year we had some fun!
