Dan Holmes of DRS cycle (formerly the top Royal Enfield dealer in the US and winner of the AHRMA CLASSIC 60'S 500CC class on his Royal Enfield BULLET 500) is going to attempt to break two SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA TIMING ASSOCIATION land speed records at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah.
We hope to make our attempt between September & October 2008. We are also hoping to make this a community effort and find lots of small sponsors. Classic Motorworks the US importer of the Royal Enfield has been a major sponsor but we are still short of funds to make this attempt. Besides sharing our story as we go along with all Royal Enfield enthusiasts, we are seeking sponsors and partners. We think that if we had 150 $20 sponsors we would have the funds we need for entry fees (which are very expensive), fuel etc. For your sponsorship we will carry your name on the bike for our ride into the history books (we hope). We will also send you a very nice autographed picture when the attempt is finished. Any donation would be an act of faith, there in NO tax deduction available nor is there any oversight by any charitable group. This is strictly a small private effort and chance for you to be part of history. There is no donation required for you to be a member of this group or to follow our progress, but we do need the funds to complete it. Please join the group and enjoy. If you desire to support our effort and make a donation you have a couple of choices. You can send Dan a donation directly through PayPal, his PayPal account is dch23@yahoo.com, you can go to EBay and purchase a donors packet, or Classic Motorworks has agreed to take donations on our behalf. They can be reached at 1-800-201-7472. You can also mail donations (no matter how small) to Dan Holmes PO Box 1127 Middlebury, IN 46540
Best Always

Yea you're correct about HOW the tail should look but the rules are a little strange about any streamlining down past the top of the tire. I'll check them
HI Phil, Thanks for sending the rendering for me to look at! I think it's looking really good! I definitely like the extended belly pan between the wheels on
