This group caters for owners of Rootes Group vehicles who live in Canberra and the surrounding district. There is no Rootes-based car club in the Canberra area. The concept of this group is to be a 'virtual' club, where owners can contact each other quickly to seek advice, information, parts and to arrange occasional group outings for our vehicles.

The Rootes group produced Hillman, Humber, Sunbeam and Singer cars - and Commer and Karrier commercial vehicles. Those owning, or with an interest in any of these vehicles are welcome to join, particularly if you live close to Canberra. (However if you have a pre-Rootes Singer you would probably be better off with another group).
