The Hood hinges are a problem , i have seen them renforced on Mark II Continentals , what happens is they are not lubed and if the cars sits around they rust...

Phil: the speedometer numerals on your 54 are actually printed on the reverse side of the plastic face plate...all you have to do is change out the face...
