Welcome to the R.I.P. (Ride in Peace) Funeral & Formal Auto Society, Rochester N.Y. ... an auto club dedicated to the fun and enjoyment of current and/or vintage Hearse, Ambulance, Flower Car, and Limousines.
Under the direction of John & Patricia, R.I.P. was founded with two goals in mind...

First, due to the lack of any area club or group specializing in such unique (and often mis-understood) vehicles, R.I.P. is a group of Funeral & Formal car owners with a willingness to share info, parts, stories, etc. in an effort to make our little diversion more enjoyable.

Second, R.I.P. is for FUN!!! As R.I.P. grows, events (such as Cruise Nights, Picnics, Drive-ins) shall be scheduled for members to meet and have a good time.

R.I.P. is not a "Goth", "Gore", or "Mint" specific group. Any vintage, stock, or custom is welcome. And while R.I.P. will strive to keep some level of taste, I must admit during the month of October just about anything can happen.

Whether you own a Hearse, Ambulance, Flower Car, or Limousine and/or live locally or not, all are welcome. However, with SPAM being such a big problem, R.I.P. shall be a "Members Only" site and will require you to apply for membership (just so we know you're actually a body) in order to actively post and/or contribute.
