How are the retirees affected by the "agreement" of Washington to avoid the debt default?
I am relying upon you Jim, to break it down for us.
Has Flytyer and his "boys" put it to us once again?
No COLA for three [3] years also?

At first glance, this does not look good. Depends a lot on who gets put on the"commission" to figure out things later. Rinos and dems and it will be all over. Most talked about cuts are 2013 at earliest. And since one congress cannot bind a future one, a cut need not happen. 2012 election will be the MOST IMPORTANT in our lifetime. Not only for president but for smaller government proponents in both houses. Otherwise it is circle the wagons in the hinterland...................

I'm new to this but am wondering if any is registering their RV as an LLC
through a no-sales-tax state like MT.

I am considering whether this would work for me. Any experiences to share?

thanks in advance,

Peter

Obama, Reed and Pelosi have put us in the position of someone who brings in $6,000 a month but their total payments are $10,000 a month and the only way they know to handle the situation is go borrow another $4,000 a month which simply raises the payments next month.
They might not be able to shed the debt but they could start selling stuff to balance the budget. That would be things like the millions of acres of federal land, much of which was bought in the past two years by the defense department, interior department, agriculture department and who knows who else. So it has to go at fire sale prices, at least it's going back into a productive state and one which would pay taxes to the states.
The other would be to dum all those frivilous things they support like the energy department, commerce department, railroad commission, education department and others like that which do absolutely nothing constructive. Do away with the Homeland Security department and turn that over to the military.
The final one would be to immediately stop all payments to things like ACORN, New Black Panthers, hundres of Community Action groups, all of which produce nothing but votes to keep the money flowing to them. Pretty soon we would find ourselves able to make our payments without borrowing more money.

What is sad is that there is not one thing you or I can do about this mess!
Any and everyone who runs for an office tells the voters what the voters want to hear so that they can get elected.
Once elected, there is not a thing we, the voters, can do if that electee does not keep the promises!
They make the rules and they know it!
All the retirees have gone without a COLA for two, now gonna be three consecutive years.
They voted themselves a raise everyone of those years!

Way to go Florida !

One down.....49 to go!!!
Florida is the first state - Hooray for Florida

Florida is the first state that is now going to require drug testing for welfare! Some people are crying this is unconstitutional. How is this unconstitutional? It's completely legal that every other working person had to pass a drug test in order to have a J-O-B that supports those on welfare!

Forward if you agree!! Let's get Welfare back to the ones who NEED it, not those that WON'T get a JOB.....I AGREE!!!

Sorry to break the news to you but you can forget about any COLAs ever again. Those adjustments were supposed to keep those on SS from losing ground on the economy but they never kept up with the actual inflation (even the big ones during the Jimmy Carter years)
We have lost close to 10% in just the past three years without a whimper but think of the screaming that would have gone on had they simply reduced the SS payments by that same amount. Not only no more COLAs but they keep raising the fees for Medicare which is simply a way of transferring a cut from one end of the rope to the other.

: Get Over It - AARP says as they fight American Seniors

Dear Newsmax Reader:

Please find below a special message from our sponsor, Association for Mature American Citizens. They have some important information to share with you. Thank you.

Newsmax.com

AARP is starting to crack, while Amac grows stronger.

AARP is starting to crack, while Amac grows stronger.

AARP is dangerously out of step with America.

First they supported weakening the 2nd Amendment. Then they were silent on illegal immigration, on the Ground Zero Mosque, on increasing taxes, on gas prices.

Then, against all logic, the AARP drove the passage of ObamaCare - while knowing seniors would pay billions in increased Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage premiums as a direct result.

AARP’s financial gain “could exceed $1 billion from the new health care law†– House Ways and Means “Behind the Veil†investigation finding.

Now they come out in support of “changes†in Social Security?!?

“…news that the most powerful lobbying force for older Americans had softened its opposition to benefit cuts could not have come at a worse time.†– the liberal Huffington Post

“The (AARPs)timing is very destructive†- Nancy Altman, co-director of the Strengthen Social Security Campaign

“I think they’re dead wrong on this issue and I think many of the other senior organizations feel the same way†- Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT)

The AARP’s new advertising slogan?

“Get over it!â€

We're not 'Getting Over It!' says the
Leading Conservative to the AARP!

Dan Weber, president of Amac says, “ it looks like AARP is a giant ship that has lost its rudder- and it is about to hit the rocky shore. The problem is they are taking their members down with themâ€

In stark contrast to the AARP, Amac recently issued two strong proposals to keep Social Security solvent while putting more money in the pockets of older Americans.

AMAC is courting legislators to introduce a bill to eliminate the tax on Social Security income that one in three people collecting Social Security are now paying.

“We consider it unfair to tax Social Security twice, once when you pay in and again when you start to collect,†Weber says.

Amac Fights For:

  • Smaller government
  • The 2nd Ammendment

  • The old-fashioned values that made America the Greatest Country on earth.

The secret to long life...

A doctor on his morning walk, noticed the old lady pictured above:,
She was sitting on her front step smoking a cigar, so he walked up to her and said,

"I couldn't help but notice how happy you look! What is your secret?"

"
I smoke ten cigars a day," she said. "Before I go to bed, I smoke a nice
big joint.  Apart from that, I drink a whole bottle of Jack Daniels every
week, and eat only junk food.  On weekends, I pop pills, have sex, and I
     don't exercise at all."

"That is absolutely amazing!  How old are you?"

    "Forty," she replied

Registering in Montana by forming an LLC through somebody like Bennett Law Firm in Missoula has saved me 10's of thousands of dollars.  No sales tax and plates are only $125 per year and they charge a fee of $125 per year as your registered agent.

There is no danger, just buy an adapter from your 30 amp plug to the 50 amp outlet. 50 amps is the maximum amount of power available, not how much it puts into your trailer. The wiring in the adapter and supply box in the trailer takes care of all that. BTW, when looking for the adapter, ask for a "Dog Bone" type.
Then don't forget it and drive off with it in the outlet pole (happened more times than you'd think) If you do, there goes twenty bucks.

The thing about this "agreement" in Washington is that it's not even written up yet.  And it's constitutionally unlawful to pass "an agreement".  If the president signs the "agreement", he is, once again, going against our Constitution, same as Congress.  The whole thing won't be written until after O signs it into law.

How are the retirees affected by the "agreement" of Washington to avoid the debt default?
I am relying upon you Jim, to break it down for us.
Has Flytyer and his "boys" put it to us once again?
No COLA for three [3] years also?

And they are going to fill it with GS-14 and up employees making $150 K or more. Reminds me of the movie Men Who Stare At Goats . The really scary part is it's true.
