Not to much to report other than Mary and I had a lovely dinner
together. :)
This month, the Lime Run is on Sunday, April 27. I believe Shelly
was going to organize this one again this year. She will send out
the details, but last year we met up at the rest area off I-5 just
past exit 206, then headed up to Sedro Wooley together. Shelly,
please post the details. Please let her know if you intend to join
in!
Currently there is nothing on the calendar for May, so it is WIDE
OPEN for people to captain and/or suggest rides! Step right up!
Could be a good time to go to Sequim or something like that! Love
that rain shadow!
I just wanted to send out more kudos to Lisa at Seattle Cycle Center
on Aurora Ave. I went in the shop last weekend because I was having
issues with the pants I bought there a year or two ago, and she went
above and beyond to help me out. They are really good to women
riders there, so check it out sometime if you haven't been there
already!
Lisa Douglass and I took the motorcycle maintenance course at Lake
Washinton Technical College this past winter. The guy who taught the
course, Dave Rookaird, is the service manager at Eastside Motorsports
where they specialize in Suzuki, Yamaha and Ducati. I have not had
any work done there personally, but after learning from Dave for 3
months, I think he is a really straight forward guy, and that those
who are looking for a shop might want to consider Eastside. Not sure
on other makes, though. Call ahead.
Anyone riding yet? I hear this weekend is supposed to be AWESOME!
Rev 'em up, Ladies!
