OK,maybe this weekend doesn't work for people - do we dare plan
ahead and set it up for next weekend and just hope for nice weather
on the select day?
I'm open - Saturday at 5pm is preferred by Sunday starting at 5pm is
OK too.
And thanks Ed for sharing your saga with us from the Tulip Rallye.
I know exactly what you mean. I usually don't get out of the
parking lot on that rallye before I'm already doomed. Usually we
just don't worry about it and enjoy the drive and it's always fun
when the course doubles back on itself and you see all the vintage
autos coming right at you the other way - just like looking in a
mirror.
We're planning on heading up to Vandusen the next weekend. I
haven't decided which Rootes car to drive up this year. The Mighty
Minx looks good with paint job and chrome but the interior is still
a work in progress. I decided to wait in que till fall for John
Parkhurst to do the interior as he came highly recommended and it
will be worth the wait to have it done right.
