Yo
David.
The
All Pontiac / GMC Show & Shine will again be at Softball City on June 14th
2009.
Some
of us will be there shortly after 7am to get things set up. Not to turn
down help, but I think we have a system and enough of us will be there.
Registration
is $10.00 for members and $15.00 for non-members.
Rules
of Conduct will be published on our website as soon as we can get our new
poster up there.
Hope
to see a bunch of Fiero’s again this year.
We
really need all the help we can get with prizes, you guys have come through
before, hope you can help again.
Sounds
like you’re having fun with you ride, can’t wait to see it when it’s
closer to being finished. Are they ever finished?

Ok we put the final touches on the West Coast Fiero’s 2009
events schedule at the Feb meeting. Before I post everything and cement
it into place, I wanted to get the details on days/times and such for the event
Details I am looking for.
Confirmed Date
What people need to bring
Time the event is starting and time setup is starting ( I
might be able to get a couple volunteers from our club to assist in setup.)
If possible I would like a Rules of Conduct supplied by a PPPCC
member or rep from the club, so I can staple it to the forehead of some of our
younger members.
I have already told them no Liquor of any kind, no drag racing
on the entry road, and drive civil while entering and leaving the event.
P.S. My V8 Fiero is in the middle of a frame/chassis off
swap. The chassis on my Black 85 Fiero GT with the 3 spoke wheels,
finally after 450,000 kms has given up the ghost due to my beating the heck out
of. (racing, burnouts, drifting and in general hard driving)I found 4 different
locations that had stress cracks and felt the car was no longer safe to be
driven hard at track speeds. I bought an 87GT that I am stripping
down, painted the frame with Tremclad and am putting the entire body,
suspension and drive train from the 85 into the 87 with a few additions of a
Ricer style fibreglass combat front clip, fibreglass cowl hood and fibreglass,
cowl extractor rear deck lid with raised spoiler and extensions on the wing
itself. Also converting to the newer style fastback clip with fastback
tail lights and a Getrag 5spd stick shift. The Getrag is not as
strong as the Munci built 4spds but the 5th gear
overdrive should make it nicer for freeway runs.
