Well I foud a 1974 CB360 in reasonable shape. It ran rough looked ok. Before I
tore it down I took the carbs apart and dipped them and replaced some 35 year
old Orings then found the one of the plug wires were bad. After I put it back
together it ran really well. So now I have completly disassembled the bike and
am about to send the frame and other parts out to be blasted and powdercoated. I
am still on the fence if I want to build a cafe bike or a cafe-esk cruiser. The
more I look at the cafe bikes the more I think I want to build a full on cafe
bike. I currently ride an 06 CBR1000RR and am a member of Toledo Motorcycle

I just bought 1 set from the ebay.co.uk. The rear set is approx $40 not
including shipping. But it is quite good for my CB450. Pls see the link belows:

I've got a '73 CB350 that had the misfortune of low-siding late last year in the rain.

Does anyone have a rear brake pedal and front brake lever that they'd be willing to get rid of? Let me know what you'd like for it.

Thanks!

Luois you are right out of state no problem, as some states do not require
titles for bikes over 25 years old.

I have heard (not tried it) that is is hard as all get out to walk though an
Ohio bill of sale.

If you get a notorized bill of sale and the bike has a clean vin #, you can get
a DOT inspection done on it and get a title.

I'm no legal expert, but I thought you didn't need a title in Ohio for a bike
this old (1973).
I have three CBxxx bikes from 1978, and I think all I had for them was bills of
sale, and out-of-state registrations which I took to OH-DMV to get them
registered.
But that may have been because I moved them here from a state that didn't issue
titles for bikes that old...

All I did was take the bikes, the bills of sale, and the out-of-state
registrations to OH-DMV, where the clerk came outside to verify VIN numbers,
then issued OH registrations.
I'd have to check the safe deposit box to be sure, but I don't think I've ever
had titles for any of the three.
I may have told the clerk, "My old state didn't issue titles for bikes this
old." But there wasn't any problem or delay at OH_DMV.

Hi People

Just a quick note to say I've joined from over the pond. My interest is in the
CB350k series Twin. I had one when a teenager (30 years ago) and have only
recently acquired a replacement for the 'old freind'.

The good news was it came with a spare engine (only 250) but hey ho beggars cant
be chooser's. I am now preparing to embark on a cafe racer cb250 and have
acquired a few parts to start off with.Lots of inspiration on this site!

The classic racing scene here ensures there are plenty of nice body parts
available so I am hoping it will be a happy experience getting a build together.

Talking cafe racers, one of my other teenage bikes was a 650 triton, a proper
rockers bike, alas sold when times were hard but not forgotten.(Wideline Norton
frame with pre-unit Bonneville engine and all the shiny bits too)
Current road bike- off the peg Honda Firestorm VTR1000. but also have Triumph
650 Trophy (1970) nearing completion, Matchless G80s (1956) and a Triumph Tiger
Cub plunger (bobber) project.

I only need to live till I'm 100 to get all the work done. Well a man's got to
have his toys!

Best wishes Rob (bitsajap)

I finally got my bike figured out! It was the rotor and brushes,
reg/rec and carbs. I just put the stock airbox back on with a paper
filter, took the carbs apart and cleaned them. The leaking overflow
problem was actually cracked overflow tubes in two bowls. Tonight
after it warmed up I hit 10,000rpm! I was wondering if Greg, Jessie,
Goran, Eddie would like to come over and help me sync the carbs again.
I did my best bench sync but figure it needs to be done again! Just
let me know if and when your available and I will provide pizza and
beer or whatever you want. Looking forward to getting out there this
  year!!!
