have a compression check done. if there is a compression loss, you'll have to
pull the top end to see if/how many valves are bent and get them replaced, as
well as determine the extent of any further damage. what were you doing when
the timing belt went, e.g. idling, driving on the freeway, etc? that will
provide more insight as to how much damage you sustained.
