have a compression check done. if there is a compression loss, you'll have to pull the top end to see if/how many valves are bent and get them replaced, as

blew my timing belt - ouch
do i need to replace the cylinder head or can i replace the bent valves or do i need to replace the whole engine., i just cant believe what they want for

Re: Throttle valve???
I just had to take my 2003 A6 in for rattling and it seemed to be revving a little higher than normal, especially on inclines. Ended up being a bad catalytic

Throttle valve???
the throttle body wouldn't rattle if it was miscalibrated, but it can cause running issues. i bet they're unrelated. call
