Welcome, it's good to have another Oregon Rumble Bee on the site.

Mine is a 2004 and I have never had an issue like you mention.

So far I have only had a door lock problem and the front brake rotors
warped after 13,000 miles. Too soon in my opinion, I am going with
aftermarket rotors if they warp again.

It's been pretty quiet on this board, maybe some new blood will
increase the posts.
