Welcome to NOVAMOG: the Northern Virginia Merkur Owners Group mailing list.

Although our current mailing list with Yahoogroups was established in July 2000, we've been together as a formal group of Merkur owners local to northern Virginia since 1998. Most NOVAMOG members belong to The Merkur Club of America (www.merkurclub.com).

We meet on a quarterly basis although we sometimes call a meet whenever the mood strikes, including informal get-togethers to drink coffee, technical clinics, fun rides and participation in local area car shows. Most of our meets are held in the northern Virginia area. We also convoy together as a group to meet with as many as 200 Merkurs on the showfield at the All-Ford Nationals in Carlisle, PA normally scheduled for the first week in June each year.

All Merkur owners (past or present, or even wanting to become a Merkur owner) in the mid-Atlantic states of Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, District of Columbia, West Virginia, Virginia and North Carolina are invited to join our mailing list. The only true guideline is that there is no such thing as a dumb question. You don't need to be a Merkur owner to join our list and you don't have to attend any of our events, although our meets are what we are really all about.
