My guess is "yes"!  I don't think the charger and controller have anything to do with each other but you can ask the tech specialist at GEM.  His email is:

I don't see why not. Is GEM telling you that you have to change the controller as well? I know they say you need a T2 controller for it to correctly read the

Yes, you can change froma Zivan to a Delta-Q charger without changing your controller, if I am not mistaken GEM used to sell a retrofit kit that contained all
