Re: GEM regenerative braking
Any GEM's up to 2001 need a GE handset, anything 2002 or later (anything with a T2 12-pin controller) can be done with the GE Sentry software. 2005 and later

Re: GEM regenerative braking
Rick, It sounds like you know how or have the ability to reprogram controllers.  Is that done through a computer or need special equipment?

“vehicle disable”
(I am assuming?) that the 07 and newer Gems have the "vehicle disable" feature when the parking brake is on? My E2 06 don't have this. Anyone know what Gem did

Re: GEM regenerative braking
Losing your regen does not sound normal.  The controller needs the input from the magnetic pickup (RPM) on the motor for the Speedometer, Odometer, Overspeed
