The purpose of this group is to have a forum for North Carolina bikers to stay in touch, get to know one another better, with the focus being legislative-minded information as it pertains to biker's rights. While the original idea of the list was to reach folks who care about the issues even if they were/are not members of a rights organization, the initial invitation to join was sent to members of CBA/ABATE, Retreads, the now defunct N.C. M.I.L.E.S and BOLT of NC. Invitations to join were also sent to other folks the list owner has met through other sources. Any biker/triker/sidecar rider, whether you belong to an organization, M/C club, or to no structured outfit, is welcome to apply. Let's help each other by passing on information regarding the continued fight to reclaim/maintain our rights and also information about local and state events. Issues of a global or national nature that pertain to us as motorcyclists are also welcome. From time to time, non motorcycle content may be posted if it is kept short and petains to some form of legislative issue. What this list is NOT for is brand-bashing, passing on of numerous jokes and "do this it's real funny" items.
