Minn-Max, Minnesota Maxiscooter Riders
Founded in the summer of 2001, we are a group of guys and gals in the Minneapolis / Saint Paul area who enjoy riding together on our touring class motorscooters. Our rides usually take place from mid April through September and are coordinated through our YahooGroup discussion forum. We tend to avoid busy highways and speeds seldom exceed 55 mph. Distances vary for each ride, but often exceed 120 miles in a day.
Currently those in our group own a variety of maxiscooters including Aprilia Scarabeo and Atlantic, Honda Helix, Reflex, and Silverwing, Kymco, Piaggio, the Suzuki Burgman 400 and 650, Yamaha Majesty 400, and the venerable Vespa.
Even if you don’t own a scooter, our on-line discussion list is open to anyone who shares our interest in these amazing machines. We are not a club and there are no membership fees or dues.
