my clutch is slipping.. so I don't really use it anymore.. just use the brakes... if i pull the lever in... it slips for a bit before it catches ... then...

How can you tell your clutch slips? The converter slips too - can we tell the difference? Why would the mechanical clutch slip? Surely it hardly does any work?...
