Description

This group is intended to supplement the normal Locost builders group and provide more North American content such as donors available in North America; the building challenges to modifying the design from "the Book" to fit the donors available and registration problems unique to North America.

New members will need to be approved due to recent spamming assaults on the groups. New members should be approved within one or two days.

VAG's SEAT brand have been racing the TDI in the BTCC, so no questions about the performance potential. :-) Best diesels at the moment are the VAG 1.9, the BMW

In the 40's and before the midget racers had a "wobble pump" on the outside of the cockpit to keep fuel pressure.  KW ... From: Daniel C Swann

That was one of the jobs of the onboard mechanic in the really early racing days, to keep pressure in the gas tank. ________________________________ From:

I forget what car it was, but some old early 1900s race car had a button on the dash that the driver had to keep pumping periodically. It would pump air into
