Life Cycle Rat of Kalamazoo...we are a group of riders from Southwest Michigan. RAT means "Riders Association of Triumph" but we welcome riders of all ages and all makes and models of bikes. We welcome the motorcycle "enthusiast". We have weekly rides, as well as planned events. By joining our group we can keep everybody informed about upcoming events, rides and special happenings going on here in West Michigan. We hope to make this one of the best "group" forums on the web. If you have photos of rides or events, please leave them or let us know!
Welcome Dave Lehr as our NEW R.A.T Pack leader.
"It will be my priviledge to take over as RAT Pack Leader from Ludwig Betts. I think Ludwig has established a reputation for both quality route planning and quality destinations. I bought my 1st Triumph motorcycle a 1967 Triumph 650 Bonneville in 1971 while I was still in college. Over the next 4 years it was my only transportation as I toured much of New York state. The past 25 years as a hobby I have collected British Motorcycles, Ariel, AJS, BSA, Matchless, Norton, and Royal Enfield, as well as Triumph. After retiring from UPS in 2007, I began buying and selling motorcycles full time under the business Detour Cycle Works here in Kalamazoo. My 1st Tuesday night ride was in July 2008 with my wife Amy. We rode my 1968 Triumph Bonneville and enjoyed a great ride and pleasant company at dinner. In September 2008 I purchased a 2008 Triumph Bonneville Black, amazing what they have done to motorcycles in the past 40 years. I look forward to leading the Tuesday night rides this summer with my wife and our Bonneville Black."...dave lehr.
