Montri:
The clutch disk you have is a motorcycle disk and not the one made for the
Isetta. The Isetta disk has a continuous lining ring on each side and the steel
center plate is S-shaped all the way around so that it can compress slightly to
gently engage without grabbing, very clever engineering.
Try to get a new clutch disk from the IOCGB or one of the suppliers like Bromley
Bubble or Hans Rothkegel. Personally, I would get a new diaphragm pressure
plate. Hopefully neither of your pressure plates has any rust-pitting. A good
clutch mechanism is essential to adequate gear-shifting and the pleasure of
driving one's Isetta. When you step on the clutch pedal, one expects full
disengagement. Worn components interfere with this expectation.
