FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Are there tax incentives for hybrids?
A: Yes, the IRS gives a $2000 income deduction (about $200 off your taxes).
Some States also offer deductions or credits.

Q: What are the hybrid specs?
A: From car&driver:
    INSIGHT: ~70mpg; 73hp; 10.6 secs 0-60
    CIVIC: ~50mpg; 93hp; 10.9 secs 0-60
    OLD PRIUS: ~50mpg; ~98hp; 13.0 secs 0-60
    NEW PRIUS: ~50mpg; 108hp; 11.3 secs 0-60

    ACCORD: ~37mpg; 250hp; 6.7 secs 0-60

    ESCAPE: ~35mpg; 140hp; 10.8 secs 0-60
    RX400H: ~25mpg; 210hp; 6.9 secs 0-60
    HIGHLANDER: ~25mpg; 200hp;

Q: What is a battery gauge recalibration event?
A: As you are driving the gauge suddenly drops from near-full to near-empty.
This battery gauge recalibration is not a problem. That's how the car is
designed to work. Basically, the computer is unable to measure the amount of
charge in the battery directly, so it sometimes has to reset to zero, activate
charge, and then "find" when the battery is full again. It recalibrates the
gauge.

Q: What if I want a high MPG/great fuel economy car but not a hybrid?
A: There are many alternatives:
    LUPO 3L (Europe): 90mpg
    DIESEL JETTA/GOLF/BEETLE/PASSAT: 50mpg
    CIVIC HX: 44mpg
    ECHO: 41mpg
    RAV4 SUV: 31mpg

Q: What about ultra-clean cars that are non-hybrids?
A: LUPO 3L (ranked #1 cleanest car in Europe)
    RAV4 (pure electric)
    SENTRA CLEAN AIR (gasoline SULEV)
    ACCORD (gasoline SULEV)

Q: What is SULEV?
A: Super Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle
