Description

The purpose of this group is to gather *experienced owners* to answer potential buyers' questions regarding the new gas-electric hybrid cars (Discussion may include alternatives such as battery-electric cars or fuel cell cars):
- Toyota Prius/Lexus RX400H
- Honda Insight/Civic/Accord
- Volkswagen Beetle/Jetta
- Ford Escape


FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Does the car need a plug? What is the range/top speed? How long will the battery last?
A: No plug required, because the battery recharges during braking and directly from the engine. Range/speed is the same as a normal car: Unlimited/Over 100mph. And finally, the battery should last as long as the car. But just in case something goes wrong, the Manufacturers offer 8-year warranties.
