Re: [Honda_SS125A] OMNI-PAK PAINT PROCESS

Hey Tom, Good info. I never knew they had a clear with a hardener right in the can! I do have a question for you; just curious as to why you started with a silver base? BTW, I haven't messed around trying to figure out the wiring to my battery yet. I go on vacation for 2 weeks soon so be prepared for some more questions! Thanks as always! Jack

Maybe I am the last person to know about the OMNI-PAK spray can method of painting but in case I am not I want to share what I have learned so far:
My local paint shop stocks this process and can match the color and then inject it into the spray can. The urethane clearcoat has a hardener cell inside that is broken to release the hardener when ready to go. I just used one can of color on each CL125A frame and will still need about 1/2 of another to finish up the color coat. Each can is about $35. including the clear. You can see pictures and read how I am doing mine on my website: http://www.spookyto ms.com/SpookyTom -CL125A-68- 46.html
