It's possibly just some crud or water in the carburetor float bowl.
Drain the carb and add some fresh fuel with a good fuel system cleaner
additive like Seafoam.

Worst case some foreign material is partially blocking the
carburetor's idle passageway.

Just bought a EU 2000i and a companion after 1 hr of running the companion's idle goes up and down with no load attatched to it I turned off the eco throttle...
