This is a group for owners of Honda Twinstar 185-200-250, Rebel 250-450 and Nighthawk 250 twins of all years. The purpose is to provide and share information to help owners restore, customize or just keep these bikes alive.
Photo at right is of Terry Sanderson's 1979 CM185 Twinstar. The bike has over 50,000 miles on it and has never been restored and the most major repair it has had was a clutch replacement and really all it needed was new clutch springs. The seat was redone with cloth inserts and a gel pad about 5 years ago. The mufflers are from a late model Harley-Davidson Sportster and it is almost too quiet to suit me. It also has the European Honda headlight with parking light. I don't know what the handlebars are from, but I have since replaced them with lower handlebars. Updated 2/6/09
