On 9-11-2001, America was attacked! With the loss of so many Brothers on the job at FDNY, Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Company quickly made the decision to pay a tribute to America's first line of homeland defense by saying "Thank You" in a special way. H-D is offering us a new 'Firefighters Special Edition' series of bikes to ride with pride. With that said, more and more firefighters are showing up on the streets with their new bikes - together with long standing H-D riding firefighters. With the creation of this list it's our hope to create a watering-hole for our fire service Brothers and Sisters who ride America's motorcycle or are contemplating the first purchase of same. This group was inaugurated on May 19th, 2002. A year later in May of 2003 - with over 200 members and some 1,400 emails on record, we outgrew our original list's capacity and have since moved to this location where we enjoy greater capacity. On October 3, 2006, we hit the 1000 member mark!
