not-so-newbie report and questions....
Hi Erling, you mention a meeting in Holland, if it's
on can you post details. I see you are in Denmark, well in three weeks time I
plan to ferry to Sweden from the UK, ride around Norway and return via Denmark
with a pillion and boxes on a Quota 1100....I hope it does the distance.

Sport1100 engine with modifications, haven't run in three years, connected to
the old Q1000 wiring and I am not an elecronic engeneer ( wish Jan K. was
here)...... Now I turn to the redwine of Asti, and tomorrow I will know if the
meeting in Holland is possible. Any adwice?

for the rides, Alfred.

the bike years ago and the inside spot welds broke. It transmitted a horrible
vibration through the bike at certain rpm's

wanted a Q. Controls are equally good, very light, making it an easy bike to
ride. Stock seat is not so great, but I just bring along my Airhawk and all is
well save that tad bit of extra height and having to 'adjust' it.

Most noticeable under engine load, sometimes when cruising you can barely feel
it.

the same as mine, maybe a TAD smoother but I felt the same basic vibrations.

long swingarm/driveshaft
