Hi Mark
Half Kiwi is good enough!. I am taking the Quota to the annual Guzzi rally in
the South Island in October - but sticking to the tar-seal. The South Island
has lots of adventure rides now - through the high country stations - hundreds
of miles on farm tracks and fantastic scenery. I would like to do some of these
on the Quota - but my biggest concern would be dropping it and smashing up
expensive body parts. I will make up some crash bars one day to lessen the risk
- maybe think about it then.
Regards
Alan NZ

now that is a real improvement over taking the sump to change the filter and

a Power Commander (pc) that has been removed - not absolutely sure of the reason
for this. I have been reading a great deal about pc's and ECU mods and
replacement and "Tuneboy", (which I understand provides the laptop-equipped
owner with all the tools needed to fine tune all aspects of the ECU, without the
need for a pc).

Would like to sell the pc if I don't need it. I did read on Greg's website about
the piggyback reprogramm-

work, with access to all sorts of test equipment makes me think I could play
with settings myself. Another post suggested trying to finetune a pc without
good access to a dyno is pointless.
