The PMS unit, or programmable engine management unit, is a piggyback computer system for use with the Ford Mustang EEC computer. The PMS allows you to effectively program your car's computer, much like a custom "chip" does, but gives you the added flexibility of making unlimited changes from a convenient hand held computer unit. Changes can be made to timing curves, fuel curves, spark curves and air/fuel ratio's just to name a few.

This group is to provide existing and new users with a support network to share information on the PMS unit, compare programs, and track progress. As well, the PMS support group will allow prospective buyers to view information that will help them better understand what the PMS unit is capable of.

The group is open to anyone who is interested in learning more about the PMS unit, the EEC computer system, or Ford Mustangs in general.
