speaking of adding a new stereo.  my '01 gt has the stock stereo installed.  my old 2000 V6 had the mach460.  it was a very good system.  I was wondering if anybody knows where I could get the mach460 system or the mach1000 system for my GT.  it would help out a lot

You would probably be better off to buy an aftermarket cd changer and run it thru your
antenna. I have messed with the Ford cd player and they aren't the best quality. By the time you buy the Ford player and the wiring harness and get it installed you can buy a good quality aftermarket player that will sound better, last longer and, hold more songs. Probably looking at $200.
