The smaller the file size, the better, of course, but you still shouldn't do it. Find a free site to upload pictures and then use links.Thanks.

Nice car, but when are you guys going to stop inserting pictures into your e-mails and use a link instead? I've told you before that when you do this it ties up the computer as it downloads the photo into the e-mail. It's a PITA when you are using a slow dial up. Please get with it.

1. No. If you look at the date on your e-mail, it shows 12/26/2009.

2. I'm not home where I have high speed.

3. As far as technology goes, there are plenty of free sites to upload pictures for use with links.

my point is that the avenger and valkyrie are inspired by the gt40 the gt40 was developed from a car ford bought from lola....the valk and avenger look far more like the ford gt40 than the early lola....

I thought fiberfab was inspired for the valk and avenger by the gt40 which was inspired or came from the lola car that ford revamped.....

I've shortened the "skinny ass" on my avenger about 8" behind the rear axle. It completely transformed the look.

IMHO the avenger/Valkyrie looks more like the Italian concept cars from the 60s than the gt40. Anyway, I like that I don't have to build a replica of something, but my imagination can run wild(er).

I owned two kellisons, sold one and while they need a heck of a lot more body work to finish they are also far closer to looking like a real gt 40 they dont have the odd skinny ass like the avenger and valk which I also owned so I do know all of these cars personally.

Alas I very well may be selling mine and or the mid engine chassis I bought for it,
Not my car just  a well finished kellison

Very good looking!
Many avenger valk fans hate the skinny rear end and try to find ways to improve the look,
I believe any kit car be it avenger or Kellison is only limited by the imagination of the builder, and even the builder of lets say an ERA GT40 replica isnt locked into anything, if a person doesnt want a replica they do not have to build one,
No one car savvy can argue that the avenger the valk and the kell all have their designs inspired by the GT40 no matter how "custom" I built I would never try to avoid that inspiration,

If it's a 3 piece body it's not a Valkyrie, unless it is a one piece Valkyrie and he is counting the doors as pieces.

Hey all- you might think im crazy but i am thinking about selling my kelmark chassis. this would include the front suspension with all new tie rods, alignment and new ball joints upper and lower, disc brakes are not new but in good shape. the rear suspension is corvair with big disc brakes.steering box abd wheel. new shocks front and rear.less than 50 miles on 4 wheel alignment it has the 425 toronado trans that was just rebuilt and has a shift kit installed and it has a chevy motor adapter that is included or you could use an olds or caddilac motor . the floor pan will stay with chassis and it has brand new black carpeting. it has all new brake lines and new corvette 4 disc master cylinder.

ok what is not included will be the radiator and lines, tires and wheels, motor, headers and exhaust system and fuel tank, seats or any body parts.
the motor with headers and exhaust or negotiable but i wouldnt sell for less than 1600 because of fresh build and totally new exhaust.the wheels and tires are also negotiable.
do not ask me to part out any of this as i will not. it will be sold as one piece.it can be seen in Kirks rebuild under group pics.I am offering it to this group and a couple of other groups before i put it on craigslist or ebay. i would take around 3600 for it. with all the work and new parts in it it would be double that what i spent on it.
this chassis will work for just about any vw based kit. so if you have a body sitting around and motor you could be driving in a very short time. I do have something new planned so you might think im crazy and your probably right. i will not take the body or motor off until it is sold so if you would like to test drive before you buy contact me and will get arranged.

I was wondering if anyone had any advice on where to look for the parts? Or if
it's even worth hunting it down and building it for how little a Gazelle replica
typically goes for?

It is a custom rectangular steel frame w/  disc brakes up front.  The rear engine is mated to a 4speed corvair trans that has been flipped and reworked w/ a kelmark adapter and I have spare parts.  the car was originally built for roadracing.
