Re: [EHRB] Re: Transmission grinding going into first gear

Hi Doug,
The motor wasn't warmed up so maybe that didn't help. Bobby worked on the
bike last July but didn't do the trans at least not then. I spoke to him and
gave him the PO's name and he told me what was done to the bike at that
time. I was told by the PO that the upgrades were done by the PO that was a
good friend of his, so who knows. Maybe the clutch needs adjustment.

If it has only got that many miles you had better not run synthetic til it
is broke in. Some amount of some is quite normal, especially if it is not
warm up. your trans could of been done by Bobby.

Doug

Van,
Thanks for all your effort, that was very nice of you. I'll probably
change
the oil as you suggested with a good full synthetic oil and see if that
helps. I hope you have a nice July 4th weekend.

Joe, I checked with Marty(Superxparts. Joe, I checked with
Marty(Superxparts. <WBR>com) to see if Jamie might h& #438 but not #436.
You could check with
John Jones to see if he has any record of doing it. The oil in the
crankcase is where the trany gets its lube. A good full synthetic oil is
advised.
Good Luck. Van
