Happy New Year Everyone! Bob, I am sure Jay or someone else will probably respond to your question, but "if" I am not mistaken the brass fitting that sits on...
Hello Mark, I could'nt get any response locally so I have something in the works with "mike from reno" cutting off the necks on one of his tanks and giving me...
Jim, I don't think that was the place, it still sits pretty high, but I'll take a look. Bob NCWA ... brass ... is ... see ... I am ... doesn't ... mounted ... ...
Bob, I've got a 9" that didn't leak before removal. Now, the u-joint is pointing down and I've had 10 drops or so of gear oil come out. It still has the...
I just had my equalizer bar rebuilt, it cost me way more than I want to admit. Figure 2 hours to mig weld in new material and turn both sides on a lathe, an...
Thanks John. The springs are still attached on mine also, which I didn't mention, but I lost a lot more than 10 drops. I don't know if it leaked before as it...
Bob, I'm still waiting for that first stupid question. But I can direct you to any number of places for stupid answers. ;-) Sounds to me like you need a pinion...
John, this should also be of interest to folks doing a V8 swap with a manual transmission. I used an "almost unmodified" 240 equalizer bar on the 289 in my '61...
Mine's been tilted for 8 months. It might be low on oil, I haven't checked. John/Fresno ... From: econo62pickup <bosharh@...> Date: Thursday, January...
Thanks Jay. I'll go ahead and replace the seal. Is it specific to the Econoline or will any 9" seal fit? Is there a specific torque setting? Bob NCWA ... ...
Bob, the seal isn't Econoline-specific, but the seals are not all the same. The Econolines, and many other Fords from the period, use a National #7044NA seal....
Thanks. One last Q?. Is the seal and the crush spacer a single unit, are they separate, and if so do they come as a kit, or do I order them separate. See...

I had a same/similar problem (it's been a while) on three different Fords. All times, it ended up being in the column. I removed the steering wheel and looked...
Anybody else have trouble finding the website? I got directed to adult content yahoo groups, but I didn't recognize all the tools being used there. Joe...
I just checked out the group via going through Yahoo, and got an adult warning also. I clicked "I accept" and was directed to our regular website.David in...
Hi , i diden't want to go there but did anyhow . It was the switch that had a short in it . Thanks , Herb in Fl. ' 64 Panel ' 65 Panel ' 67 Falcon Window Van...
Bob, as Richard says they're separate, and trust me, you don't want to mess with a new spacer. A read through the procedure in the shop manual will make it...
Herb, sounds like you've got it figured out, but if you need info on converting from the 7 wire switch (early '67) to an 8 wire (late '67 or second generation)...
Hmmm. The "other" group doesn't seem to have this problem. Apparently we need to stop acting like adults. I'll try to use fewer big words and throw more temper...
OK. First let me start by saying I was remiss in not thanking everyone that contributed pictures for this years calendar. I gets harder every year to get...
We've submitted the proper forms to Yahoo in hopes of straightening this out. But, since that's the "adult" way of doing things there's very little hope of a...
