US 68 northeast of LEX is a nice ride. Cross the river at Maysville and you
have your choice of US 62 or hook a right and take the river road towards
Portsmouth.

A real scenic way to get to US 68 vs taking the beltway around LEX is to run
up north on I-75 a few exits and take KY 1963 east. An idylic country lane
bordered by some of the most gorgeous thoroughbred farms. Sweet!
