Every three years or so, we save our penneys and go to
Europe.
This time it is France, 5 days in Paris, 5 days in the
south.
I hope to find a motorcycle/scooter shop to look at,
as they have things
we never see here.
I wish we were riding, but don't know how that could
work. Maybe someday, but only in the country. The
cities are insane.
I nixed the run to your area today, the clouds look
threatening.
No fun riding in the rain. So I made a quick trip down
285 and back,
just to get it out of my system a little.

I am planning a possible run out to Franktown to
deliver something to a client today anyway, if you are
around I could say hi as I pass through.
There is a great book, and a great section on group
rides. It is called
"proficient Motorcycling" by a guy named Hoagland (
think that was his name)-a must read/have.
we used to ride 2 up all the time. It was awkward, and
we bogged down to 60 on the big uphills on i 70 in the
mountains even on the 500. You need faster for the
freeway. I am all for avoiding the freeway too.
I would lead some rides if you want. Am also an
Artist, though I can't promise I will come up with a
logo.
We will be around for 2 weeks, then gone for vacation
for 2 weeks.
Hope to start riding more after that.
There is a calender on the Yahoo site you can use to
schedule rides, but you probably know that!

Saturday traffic. We tend to get off early ( 7am!)and

summer ( 1pm).

Hi Jerry,

One of the reasons I called it Maxi. I do not want to discourage
others from joining, they move up to a bigger scooter and would be
welcomed to join in on rides then. I call my bike Big Red.

Check out the phot area. I have added a few in my folder. You are
welcome to add some photos also.

I am looking forward to making this a great group, lots of great
freinds and great rides.

Well, I guess we're off to a good start with three members.

I live in SE Aurora, drive a 2002 Honda Reflex, candy apple red.
It'll be nice to have some folks to ride with.  My ex-H had a
Goldwing, I miss having taking joy rides.

Let me know if you have anything planned.

Hi Jerry,

One of the reasons I called it Maxi.  I do not want to discourage
others from joining, they move up to a bigger scooter and would be
welcomed to join in on rides then.  I call my bike Big Red.

Check out the phot area.  I have added a few in my folder.  You are
welcome to add some photos also.

I am looking forward to making this a great group, lots of great
freinds and great rides.

It was a good idea to call it a Maxi Scooter club. I rode an eighty for
10 years and know I couldn't keep up on Parker road. The smaller bikes
are great urban bikes but not well suited for touring. I look forward
to meetings, gatherings and trips. I call my bike Gort.
