Man I think I may have just witnessed someone that's more aggressive on the road
course than Dan! It's damn close if he's not. That was some good driving.
Exciting to watch too.

Did you hear how quick that shift was when he was trying to pull on that Honda
at the begining of the long straight away!?! Good stuff.

Give up on that turd! You got cubes and a tire and it is not enough for your
standards. I'm not saying that it's not fast because I can barely pass it, but
you want to race much faster cars. So I agree you are going to need a lighter,
more powerful combo.

Me too.

Foe Shizzile my Nizzles.
I got punked bad by a 2500lb 350hp hybrid the other day.
It wasnt even fair. First run.. a 20 mph roll, yielded a 2.5-3 car loss on my
bohemoth at the end of fourth gear.

Second run from a diggity diggity dig... I got knocked the F@#$ out. 7-8 car

So.. all in all... A light chassis with a big motor prevails again, not only
with the hole shot, but with roll racing too.

Time to build something light and powerful.

Last night I got the chance to take the Talon out to our old lake bed race track
in Mexico and stretch her legs.

My old friend and driving opponent was there with the new and improved 383
F-bod. We didn't mess around launching from a dig since it would give benefit
to the Talon and/or break some of her aging drive train parts.

On our first go, we went from a slow roll where I was in second. I got a little
nervous and honked the horn trice times forgetting to rev the engine in
preparation. The V8 left Hard and fast on the third honk as I waited for my
stead to spool. Once in the power band I began to make-up ground, but for any
than know the throws of racing with a manual... You gain a car and then lose
half of it shifting. I missed third all together and then regained composer
going solidly in to third and pulling up. Though I never quite caught all the
way up to my friend before we got out of it due to some wild Mexican animals in
our path.

On our second go I prepared a bit more and we started of a bit slower. Again
the American muscle stood to attention as the third honk sounded off. The Talon
wasn't far behind, maybe a half car from front to front. As before I would gain
as lose pace with power then shifting. I finally passed him, but I believe
there was a miss shift involved on his part.

On our third go-round we shifted some 150-180lbs of ballast from the Talon to
the 90's muscle car. This roll-on start was faster than the other two with a
big bison coming up from behind us. I again fell back slightly on the launch
but regained even right away. Almost like the first race I missed third, but
this time I did a quick double clutch nearly standing in my seat, and regained
my momentum. At this point and began to pull hard on the American. To make
sure he didn't catch back up I hammered 4th home and let it eat for a few
seconds before letting the old Talon rest. I had thought the ballast made most
of the difference, but come to find out My friendly opponent had squarely missed
third gear so badly that he didn't even try after that because of the distance
lost.

All in all it was a good couple of runs and we summed up the night feeling the
383 had improved over the last time we had run side-by-side. It is a fast car,
but the Talon held her own, deserving a nice easy ride home back to the states.

Ready for the David Crebo Memeorial Drag Day coming up this June 7th!?

Hi there,
Just for a change a nice joke, hope you would like it.

A man goes out and buys a new Vette convertible. One night he takes it out for a
spin, and stops at a red light. An old man pulls up next to him riding a mo-ped.
The old man looks over the Vette and says, "What kind of car ya got there
sonny?"

The man replies, "It's a 2000 Corvette, the best sports car in the USA; it cost
me over $50,000."

"That's a lot of money" says the old man. Why do they cost so much?" The man
answers, "Because they can go 170 miles an hour!" The old man pokes his head in
the window and looks around. Leaning back on his mo-ped, the old man says,
"That's a pretty nice car all right!"

Just then the light changes, so the guy decides to show the old man what the car
can do. He floors it, and in a few seconds the speedo reads 120 MPH. Suddenly he
notices a dot in his rear view mirror that seems to be catching up to him.
Afraid it might be a cop, he slows down to 65 and suddenly whhhoooosshh!
Something whips by him going much faster!

"What on earth could be going faster than this Vette?" the man asks himself.
Then, ahead of him, he sees a dot coming towards him. Whhoooosshh! It goes by
again, heading the opposite direction! And it sorta looked like the old man on
the mo-ped!

"Couldn't be," thinks the guy. "How could a mo-ped outrun a Vette?"

Then again he sees a dot in his rear view mirror! Whhooosshh - Blam! It plows
into the back of the Vette! The man jumps out. It IS the old man! Of course, the
mo-ped and the old man are in a world of hurt. The guy runs up to the old man
and cries, "You're hurt bad! Is there anything I can do for you?"

The old man groans and replies, "Yes, could you please unhook my suspenders from
your side mirror?"

Hi there,

Found this wonderful joke hope you will like this

The National Transportation Safety Board recently divulged they had covertly
funded a project with the US auto makers for the past five years, whereby the
auto makers were installing black boxes in four-wheel drive pickup trucks in an
effort to determine, in fatal accidents, the circumstances in the last 15
seconds before the crash.

They were surprised to find in 47 of the 50 states the last words of drivers in
61.2 percent of fatal crashes were, "Oh, Shit!"

Only the states of South Carolina, West Virginia and Arkansas were different,
where over 89.3 percent of the final words were: "Hold my beer and watch this!"

Hi Group,
I am having a problem with my 95 turbo eclipse. I had it in storage
for a couple of years while out of the country. When I drove it home,
the thermostat stuck closed. I ran the heater to help cool down, then
the car would start. I towed it home, and removed the fuel pump. It
wourked great out of the car. When I re-installed it, the pump isn't
working. I have not been able to locate the fuel pump relay to test
it. Does anyone know where it is located? The enginge will run if I
spray carb cleaner into the air intake. I have changed the fuel
filter, tested the ign system and they are good. What is going on?
Thanks for any help that can be offered.
  John

Hey girls & guys,
I am going to put a used 1g 14b turbo in my 2g
gsx, because the t-25 turbo is a little bitch and
can't make more than 4 psi on a good day. I am also
putting in a walbro 255 lph fuel pump and a oil catch
can to keep oil out of my intake and intercooler.

Hey man,
nice move, but be more specific about what type of
upgrades you're talking about. Do you seek more
engine power or just bolt ons? The BEST way to really
upgrade your car is to port and polish your cylinder
head, but its alot of work! Good luck
