removed after the first
dealer check up as a break
in device or possibly some

We found it by accident
when my dad was changing a
motor in his wag. and the
replacement motor could not
get over 35-40 mph - dad
tried switching the carbs
and found and removed it
and it ran great.

Yep, it's the factory restrictor plate to keep engine speed down
until the break-in period is over. Was the wire seal still on it?

Anyone have a good or dead on figure for the total weight of a complete
engine and clutch...starter, genny etc...???
