I concede you are likely right on that point.

Toyota dealers and Toyota Specialty Shops,
on the other hand, will gladly install pads "brought
to them" as long as they are genuine Toyota pads.
So that's another example of why a customer
could end up spending less by going to a
Toyota dealer or Toyota Specialty Shop.

My local Toyota dealer was even happy to
replace the timing belt assembly and water pump
on my mother's V8 Lexus for only a $400 labor
charge even though I had purchased all the
Toyota parts and even the antifreeze from
a discount dealer.
