I have used Toy and NAPA; NAPA works just fine. However, with Toy pads, you get the clips and shims. Not so with NAPA, so save the parts you removed when you R&R the brake pads.

I just found out that I have to have my front brakes replaced.. only 20 percent left. Does anyone know if it makes a big diffence if I have Toyota brakes put on, or if I could go to another mechanic I've used, who probably wouldn't use Toyota brakes, but would probably be much less in cost.

have to do this either today or tomorrow.
