Probably they gave you valves from a Ducati 900, the GC uses heads from the 750SS Good Luck Wayne ... I live in Costa Rica and had to get new exhaust valves...

All of what Daf said is true. It is interchangeable, is narrower, and is harder than the Gran Canyon seat. $239 is what I paid through the local Ducati...
