Description
The CWML is orientated towards the rebuilding/restoration of classic Willys/Jeeps, as well as documenting all things about these Jeeps.
This list was created as a low volume, spam-resistant alternative to the Classic Jeep Mailing List*.
To that end, e-mail addresses that look like the cat puked on the keyboard will be rejected by the moderators.
Also, postings by new members are moderated so that we can catch would-be spammers.
After a posting or two members are switched to un-moderated.
Please be kind to other members of the list and observe the following suggestions:
do not post off-topic materials
do not forward virus alerts or warnings (after all, they're off-topic even if they seem important)
direct questions on building the ultimate trail rig to either the JeepTech list or the WillysTech list
trim your replies (if you're unsure how to quote messages, please Google on "quote netiquette" and read a few guides (such as the one here))
for new topics, start a new message thread (don't just reply to an existing thread and change the subject)
If the moderators notice that an account is repeatedly sending messages with viruses attached or off-topic messages, they will either remove the account from the list or flag the account as not being able to post.
* Please note that the CWML is not associated with Off-Road magazine in any way.
