Alot of people will recommend not using synthetic oil. The same oil that lubricates the motor also lube's the clutch and synthetics can make the clutch slip....

Any oil of appropriate viscosity works well if you remember to change it. I use generic store brand 20-50, (it gets very hot here) and change it every year...
