Re: Headlight mounting bolt

Just an update:

The size, if anyone needs it, is an M12 1.25pitch x 30. I picked one up at the
hardware store for about $2 with a washer and it works fine. The hex was a size
19 (vs 17 on the stock one), but it's cheaper than the $25 they wanted at the
Honda Dealership for a chromed one that might not be the right one. They didn't
have stainless, but they had the odd bronze colored one, whatever that is. It's
installed, works great, now I know the size and so does everyone else if they
have the same thing happen.

Perhaps I need to grab some loctite later today. ;)

Maybe you can ride to a hardware store and ask them to look at the other bolt to match it?...

I've gone to 3 different ones so far. No one apparently carries metric that size. :/ I'll try Ace Hardware tomorrow, and if not there, head up to a Home...
