The Chapter was founded on the assumption that any member interested in Caterpillar Diesel engines would be interested in knowing more about them-- how to maintain them, how to maximize performance, and how to keep repair costs to a minimum. Socializing and associating with members with similar equipment was another advantage.

Having Caterpillar Inc. as our Club sponsor is a definite plus for members. They were the #1 provider of Diesel engines to the RV market in 2004, 2005 and 2006. As a result they are interested in working closely with Caterpillar RV Engine Owners to enhance their Caterpillar engine ownership experience. Caterpillar's engine lineup for RV's includes the C7 (based on the popular 3126 series), the mid-range C9, the C-13, and the powerful C15 with up to 625 HP and over 2,000 ft-lbs of torque.

Our Club Rallies (two per year-- two weeks prior to FMCA International Conventions) focus on learning more about maintaining Caterpillar diesels as well as having a good time.
