C5 tailgate window opens unexpectedly   Message List

Hi all

Having found and repaired my non-opening tailgate window thanks to the excellent
instructions in the files here, I now find that the darn thing keeps popping
open unexpectedly. Normally this is when I've just closed the main boot and it
does it several times, even when I've just pulled away. I have found that
opening the main tailgate and shutting the windown hard, then closing the
tailgate normally helps, but could anyone shed light on why this is happening?

As I have two dogs in the back normally, this is a worry and I don't want to
have to undo the initial repair and go back to a non-opening flap!

C5 Exclusive estate 2003

Many thanks

Jeremy

Mine started to do this when I was in Spain. I took the easy way out and disconnected the solenoid. Now it won't open at all, but that doesn't worry me....
